What if I Want Matcha and Coffee?
This exert is short and sweet, I wanted to share the time I wanted matcha and coffee and decided to ask for them together.
May 24, 2022:
I am having a “Third Eye”, a Matcha Latte with a shot of espresso. Will, the Barista at Holiday Bar off of 14th and Howell Mill road in Atlanta. GA made it after expressing a desire for both matcha and coffee in the same sip. Will suggested a vanilla flavored sweetener so I went for it then asked for oat milk in order to dodge the consequences of drinking milk.
The “Third Eye” crafted by Will was heart warming, better then what I could ask foe. The subtle, earthy tones of the matcha and the bitter and slightly smokey notes of the coffee mingle together flawlessly.
I think Will just made one of my new café go-to drinks, Thanks! I always appreciate when Chefs, Bartenders, and Baristas get excited about their ceaft and wants to share something new with me.
